Notes from the Potting Shed

 Today’s Triumphs: One slightly overenthusiastic Victoria sponge (jam leakage unavoidable but life-affirming), and one allotment carrot that appears to be making a spirited attempt to escape its own fate.

I am considering entering the carrot in next year's village fete under the category of 'Vegetable Most Likely To Be Arrested for Loitering with Intent.'

The cake, meanwhile, is already entered into the 'Best Reason to Abandon All Known Diets' category.

Tuesdays may be happening suspiciously often at the moment, but I see no reason why that should interrupt pudding.
